The golf course begins rather innocently with a short par 4. The tee shot is played through an ancient but now departed fence line of trees to a landing area that is guarded on the right by a lone bunker. Shots aimed close to the hazard will find ideal positioning for the approach shot to the green. This is typical throughout the golf course. The green opens from the right, which matches the fairway bunker, and slopes from back to front with bunkers guarding the front left and back right pin positions. Bailing out off the tee (away from the fairway bunker) leaves the player with an approach over the bunkers at the green and a sloping putting surface that will kick the shot slightly which effectively narrows the target. It is best to stay right.
